My Tools

Probably the most important program in my repertoire is Blender. I use this open source 3D software to create my assets, produce render images and implement animations. Through years of practice and a wide range of add-ons, Blender has become my go-to tool in the 3D field.

Which programs do I use?

Blender

Unreal Engine

The Unreal Engine has been a valuable companion in many of my projects. Animations and productions made with the engine have a special visual touch. I have also designed and programmed environment and games projects with the Unreal Engine.

Adobe Creative

For a long time, I used Adobe software for my creative projects - and continue to do so in my main job. As a freelancer, I have now decided against it. However, if it is necessary to use Adobe software for a service, this can be arranged. I am still familiar with the tools.

As an alternative to Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, I now use the creative programs from Affinity. They are very similar in scope and features to Adobe and allow me to work without being dependent on Adobe.

Affinity

Krita is my faithful companion when it comes to illustration and digital painting. I have been using this open source tool in combination with a drawing tablet for my leisure projects for years.

DaVinci Resolve

What I used to do with Adobe Premiere Pro is now done by DaVinci Resolve. The video cutting and editing program is completely convincing in terms of usability and range of functions and outperforms the competition (Adobe) in many respects.

Figma

When it comes to designing digital interfaces, UIs or UXD, I use the creative software Figma. I also designed this website in Figma before I implemented it with a website builder.

This page lists the programs and tools that I mainly and most frequently use. However, I am by no means limited to this selection of programs. If it is necessary or useful to use other programs for a project or to carry out additional tasks with specialized tools, I naturally integrate these into my workflow accordingly.

I am also open to learning new programs and expanding my digital toolbox.

Other Programs

I carry out my creative assignments without the use of generative AI, unless it is explicitly desired. This excludes purely supplementary tools, such as repair brushes, frame expansion, removal tools, etc.
